Design Brief / Overview

Replacement of existing council offices main entrance. The existing main entrance system was out of date and tired looking, worst of all, non compliant to the latest EN16005 standards. A new fresh and aesthetically pleasing system was required, using slimmer profiles providing excellent natural light combining total practicality for a high traffic area.

Solution:

Working out of hours and within a busy commercial area, Open Entrances' fully customised solution includes two aluminium framed, single glazed single doors controlled by an overhead automatic sliding door operator. The doors are manufactured from our own slim profile system that provides high levels of natural light improving the working conditions for the staff in the reception area. Wireless push pads avoid false activation of the doors externally providing a more eco-friendly system to keep heat in the building and avoid the operator performing unused opening/closing cycles.
